The Company:

The Position:
As a Project Manager, your role has responsibility for National project delivery ensuring delivery in line with time, cost and quality commitments on projects under your control. Delivery will be undertaken through a combination of internal engineering resource; sub-contractors and the company supply chain. You will be responsible for ensuring that appropriately skilled contractors are appointed to and in place to be able to delivery in line with the above.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Management – As part of the Management Team it is your main responsibility to manage the staff members and sub-contractors within your control to ensure that they function efficiently, correctly and follow all Health & Safety Instructions.
- Ensure projects are delivered to programme and budget.
- Ensure all O&M information is delivered to the Client on time to prevent any negative feedback and possible delays in payment.
- Consult with the Project Director for evaluating and managing all contracts.
- Maintain established profit margins and improve wherever possible Ascot Services UK Ltd Company profits and ensure that all staff members and sub-contractors act in accordance with Company policy at all times.
- Protect the interest of the Company and foster good working relationships with Clients, Client Advisors and Subcontracting organisations for the benefit of the Company.
- Respond to and follow up enquiries by email, telephone, and personal visits.
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information.
- Maintain and report on equipment and vehicle suitability and state of repair.
- Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business and organisational development.
- Attend training to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
Personnel and Health and Safety
- Implement Health, Safety and environmental control measures on site by complying with relevant HSE documentation.
- Carry out QHSE Audits on site either personally or via site supervisors.
- Assist QHSE and Compliance team in closing out of corrective action plans following audit non-conformities and any incidents.
- Regularly review on site project documentation to ensure contents remain current and up to date.
- Provide regular, clear and concise reporting of projects completed, in progress and forecasted to the Projects Director
The Candidate:
- Competent Working knowledge of M&E and / or Fabric Disciplines (Fabric Preferred).
- Industry Recognised Qualifications.
- IOSH or Higher is desirable although not essential.
- Significant experience of building and construction projects within a multi-site commercial environment.
- Excellent project management skills, able to organise and prioritise work to ensure deadlines are met.
- Good client-facing and communication skills, ability to build long-term relationships.
- Computer literate in Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Projects.
- Must be willing to travel for specific projects, and to attend our head office in Manchester at least once a month.

Salary: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
