Location: This role is based in Portsmouth with hybrid working available

About the Role...

We are looking for Project Managers with excellent technical, communication and leadership skills to join Airbus Defence & Space, Connected Intelligence, Secure Communications Project Management Team -> https://securecommunications.airbus.com/ .

The successful applicants will lead the delivery phase of complex military satellite communications projects and provide project initiation and planning expertise in the associated business winning campaigns.

How will you contribute to the team…

  • Managing and delivering projects, adopting the Airbus standards of Project Management lifecycle guidance recommended by the Project Management Institute (PMI).

  • You will be responsible for Project Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Controlling and Closing of projects delivering complex secure communications infrastructure and services.

  • You will be accountable for the quality, cost and schedule performance of the project.

About You...

  • You have a good understanding of the PMI Project Management body of knowledge, or similar methodologies.

  • Experience bidding and delivering projects in communications, aerospace, space or defence industries

  • You have a basic understanding of AGILE project management.
