- Modeling, communicating, appreciating, and making decisions based on Health Standard’s Organization’s mission and its role, and a consideration of organizational risks.
- Manage the design, development, and successful completion of collaborative, team-based projects from end-to-end.
- Ensure projects and required activities are planned in a way that is focused on the delivery of value to the enterprise through the intended outcomes. This requires both the efficient and effective management of resources, time, work etc. to promote progress and adaptability, when required to continue to meet business objectives.
- Provide critical thinking and content development support and leadership either through direct content development and/or in partnership with subject matter expert and team members.
- Lead activities to support the roll-out of new programs/content to enable client transitions to a new experience, and ongoing adoption across sectors with cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate decision making process including providing advice and guidance to team members and key stakeholders when decisions or options are required.
- Research, prepare, and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Communicate with project team(s) and key stakeholders regularly to provide updates on project progress and gather information to advance your project(s) operationally or strategically.
- Ensure that the story and learnings about the journey of your project(s) are well documented with key lessons learned communicated/shared with the broader team as they arise and upon completion of the project.
- Build meaningful relationships with your colleagues as you develop and deliver resources and training to support their adoption of the new continuous improvement accreditation program.
- Master’s degree in a related field, such as Healthcare and/or Business Administration
- Demonstrated experience working with healthcare professionals /or in a healthcare of social services settings.
- 7+ years of progressive and varied experience in a similar position.
- Experience in project management – with various stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Tried and tested assessment, analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Understanding a program and projects in the context of an organization and within the context of the health care eco-system by having in-depth knowledge of healthcare systems. You might have worked as a clinician.
- Demonstrated understands of the people/stakeholders/outputs and applied learnings.
- Understands the principles of change management and experience in anticipating the need for change and monitor change activities.
- Comfortable and efficient with technology and working in a hybrid environment. (i.e., Smartsheet, SharePoint)
- Appreciation for diversity and recognizes value of different opinions, roles, experiences, cultures, and backgrounds.
- Accountable for work delegated to others (peers, team members, experts).
- Are bilingual – to be able to communicate in English and French is a strong asset (or any other languages for that matter).
- Clinical experience.
- Knowledge of healthcare systems having worked in health and/or social service settings.
- Deep understanding of the continuum of health care environment and quality improvement.
- Are familiar with accreditation.
- Are PMP Certified.
