What is the opportunity?
This contract position will form part of the RBC Brewin Dolphin (BD) Integration Programme supporting change activities for the Risk Framework Workstream.
You will be responsible for working with the Workstream Change Lead and Senior Leaders to deliver the end-to-end change required through identified initiatives within the Risk Framework Workstream (covering topics such as Compliance, Risk Management, AML, CASS, etc.).
The role leads, or significantly contributes to, the management, planning, and execution of integration initiatives for the assigned work streams to ensure the successful delivery of approved initiatives and realisation of synergies. You will execute to standards, meet the deliverables, and support governance as defined by the Integration Management Office (IMO).
The role manages relationships with senior stakeholders to drive consensus on the articulation, direction, and delivery of assigned initiatives, applying creative solutioning, critical thinking, problem solving and process change.
What will you do?
Manages the development and delivery of integration initiatives:
- Manages relationships with senior stakeholders to drive consensus on the articulation, direction, and delivery of assigned initiatives
- Engages with Business Line, Functional, and Operational Units on all aspects of the initiative lifecycle to drives consensus on priorities, approaches, deliverables, and outcomes
- Identifies and translates key drivers of the integration strategy to deliver fully functional, effective, and efficient solutions
- Supports delivery for all related business deliverables including business requirements, functional specification, testing approach, use/test cases and change readiness planning and engaging with Technology throughout the initiative lifecycle
- Responsible for and/or contributes to governance artefacts and forums, including IMO driven deliverables and manages the resolution of risks/issues and overcoming challenges
- Employs a prudent balance of good governance, business controls and process, whilst delivering agile and dynamic execution capability
- Provides thought leadership that shapes ideas and drives understanding on the implications to the operating model and target strategy
- Undertakes business analysis, risk and issue management, and activity tracking, with a very good understanding of Waterfall and Agile project management and delivery methodologies
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Relevant degree, formal business qualification, or appropriate experience working in Programme, Project, or Change Management functions within global organisations
- Significant previous experience delivering transformation/change within Financial Services, preferably Wealth Management
- Experience with various project/change delivery methodologies e.g. Iterative, Scaled Agile, ADKAR and Business Processing Reengineering tools e.g. Lean Sigma
- Strong and effective stakeholder management, influencing skills and communication skills across all organisational levels
- Strong ability to shape thinking and assist with delivering distinctive and creative solutions that are impactful and sustainable
