- Acting as a visionary and technical lead on projects, working closely with business managers (both internal and client side)
- Working with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Designing (and in some projects – implementing) the overall enterprise architecture for our clients, including both IT and OT systems
- Developing a digital transformation roadmap for the clients and defining the transition approach from old to new IT/OT architecture
- Conducting impact assessments, managing dependencies, and handling risk and issues to ensure successful project delivery
- Ensuring that the recommended architecture is compliant with relevant standards and regulations
- Ensuring that the recommended architecture enables a technology infrastructure that is reliable, scalable, and secure
- Collaborating with other Enterprise Architects, Solution Architects, Domain Architects, and other technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver customer-centric outcomes
- Supporting the delivery (implementation) teams wherever required – including review of the functional design, technical design, test strategy and deployment concept
- Serving as the central point of contact for the customer on an enterprise level
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to other members of the consulting team
- A degree in a relevant field such as computer science or engineering (preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in relevant technologies and strong track record of designing enterprise architecture for large clients / projects
- Several years of experience as an IT architect in digital manufacturing, particularly at the intersection of PLM, ERP, MES, or (IoT)
- Full product/software development life cycle experience, including requirements gathering, design, and delivery
- Understanding and experience with SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS
- Knowledge of or certifications in TOGAF, AWS Cloud Infrastructure, and Azure Infrastructure and Technologies (preferred)
- Strong domain know-how, ideally in manufacturing / technologies in Industry 4.0, especially in discrete manufacturing verticals
- Deep know-how of relevant standards for technology as well as safety / security, hyperscalers and on-premise software providers
- A strong business acumen and the ability to fit portfolio/solutions to customer problems
- Strong soft skills, including a results-oriented and structured work style, creativity, openness to new perspectives, and empathy
- Travel across the Middle East / EMEA region is expected as a part of project delivery
- Coordinating and developing target architectures for Customer Interaction (e.g. e-commerce, marketing and customer service) and cross-departmental roadmap planning
- Working together with the business teams on the business architecture incl. maturity analyses (via business capabilities) and optimising business processes along the “Market to Customer” end-to-end process
- Navigating all stakeholders through the challenges of developing a state-of-the-art IT architecture
- Supporting project roadmap prioritisation with business architectures and strategies
- Joint responsibility for developing IT architecture principles as well as the concept and further development of IT architecture management
- Advising the business project teams, developing joint solution blueprints and supporting the software selections
- Supporting the expansion of the international architecture community and preparing decision-making documents for senior management
- University degree or similar qualification (apprenticeship) with a focus on information technology, business administration or engineering
- Several years of professional experience in the field of enterprise architecture/IT strategy development
- Experience in complex transformation and integration projects
- Ideally, professional experience in e-commerce, marketing or customer service and knowledge of the associated IT systems (e.g. SAP Hybris, Spryker, Salesforce, Adobe)
- Quick perception, analytical thinking, as well as strong communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge and practical experience in architecture frameworks and/or methods (e.g. TOGAF, BIZBOK, BPMN)
- Very good English language skills

- You are responsible for the big picture and future business and IT landscape
- You ensure that related roadmaps fit together by providing guidelines and best practices that strike a balance between best-in-class and feasibility
- You define and report on KPIs that measure architecture adherence, initiate improvements and track their success
- In a nutshell: the Enterprise Architect directs and safeguards some of the largest IT projects in the industry while continuously guiding and navigating stakeholders through the challenges of digital transformation
- A degree in economics, computer science, natural sciences or engineering is desirable
- Work experience ideally of at least 8 years in enterprise architecture
- Technical and Digital affinity to deliver IT-based solutions
