Job description

The Amazon Project Leads' primary responsibility is to work with our enterprise client to create, manage, optimise, and report on marketing campaigns by utilising Amazon Sponsored Ads and the Amazon Demand Side Platform.

In this role, you will work directly with the client across different product categories and play a major role in driving sales and enhancing brand awareness across the Amazon ecosystem.

Our teams are multi-skilled, so alongside your work on Amazon platforms, you will have the opportunity to develop or gain experience across other search, display and social channels. These can include (but are not limited to) Display and Video 360, Search Ads 360 and Campaign Manager as part of the Google Marketing Platform, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Facebook/Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTok.

Responsibilities:

  • Own Amazon Sponsored Ads and DSP advertising for an enterprise client
  • Create, implement, manage, and report on advertising strategies that align with client goals
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to maximise performance for the client's business
  • Proactively research industry trends and best practices and communicate internally to knowledge share
  • Engage frequently and professionally with clients via email, call, and in-person
  • Strategic thinking, flawless execution, and insightful data analysis to identify areas of opportunity and deliver sales-driving initiatives
  • Utilize Amazon Attribution and Amazon Marketing Cloud to gain additional insights to increase performance.
  • Mentor more Junior Advertising Managers with the latest features and trends from Amazon Advertising.

Skills:

  • 4+ years' digital marketing experience; with an emphasis on paid search and display advertising through the Amazon Advertising Console and DSP
  • Amazon Performance Advertising experience with knowledge of developing strategic full funnel strategies to grow brands on the Marketplace.
  • Strong client-facing experience
  • Excellent attention to detail and accomplished verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to pull insights from performance data, communicate these effectively to external stakeholders, and convert these insights into actions that will boost performance
  • Strong data analysis abilities (e.g. familiarity with Excel v-lookups, pivot tables, and basic functions)
  • Multitasking with the ability to organise projects and establish priorities
  • Adept at learning new software programs and tools
  • Experience mentoring junior team members
