PROJECT LEAD

As a PROJECT LEAD, you’ll be an integral part of the team working on managing the implementation of change into the manufacturing plant, which can range from innovation to multi-million capital investment programs.
Your role will be based full time from our Manufacturing Plant in Wrexham, United Kingdom.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- The Project Lead will involve themselves in the early stages of the project to define all the plant requirements from a detailed project plan with resource requirements, to one time funding to enable a successful start with a fully trained crew and all processes and procedures in place before the change goes in to production.
- The key elements of the role are creating a robust detailed start up plan that covers all function in the supply chain, creating a team, tracking plan, building budgets and tracking start up performance against all agreed success criteria KPI’s
- Product development on assigned projects in the cereal portfolio.
- Bench recipe development, scoping of ingredients and liaising with suppliers, cost assessment to identify recipe innovation in line with cost targets and nutritional guidelines / restrictions.
- Uploading ingredients specs, recipes onto PLM, driving all relevant process steps in line with Kellogg process requirements.
- Conducting plant trials, EU or UK sites, planning trials, liaising with co manufacturing sites / Kellogg sites as project requires.
- Presenting project updates, cross functional relationship building, team alignment and supporting other team members or projects as required.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
- Experience within a manufacturing plant environment
- Project management experience
- Strong technical & analytical skills, particularly in the use of excel, SAP
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to prioritise and work on own initiative
- Diverse work experiences are also a benefit to the role, as the work will influence many parts of the organisation
