An ambitious transformation programme is underway at H&F which will fundamentally change the way we deliver housing services. We need a Project Lead to support this programme who can:

  • Manage complex projects
  • Build and maintain good relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Facilitate project meetings and keep detailed action records and project logs
  • Lead workshops and meetings
  • Design new processes with business leads across different H&F services
  • Identify issues and act promptly to resolve them or escalate to senior colleagues
  • Be proactive and determined to see their project progress

Your duties will include managing the delivery of projects, identifying and managing risks and monitor the progress of projects against milestones and targets. You will be responsible for facilitating and managing meetings with internal and external stakeholders, producing reports as well as managing multiple workstreams. You will work with colleagues across different services and you will need to build, establish and maintain effective working relationships within the council and with external stakeholders. You will also be working with colleagues to redesign existing or creating new processes to implement new IT capability and service delivery models.

Role Responsibilities:

The role responsibilities are as below;

  • Facilitate and manage meetings with senior internal and external stakeholders, including members and residents.
  • Provide excellent customer service standards to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage the recruitment of project support officers and consultants as and when required.
  • Support Programme governance through the production and presentation of progress reports.
  • Undertake other projects and duties commensurate with the role to support the Head of Delivery.

Role Specific Qualifications:

Prince 2, Agile, or other Project Managements qualifications are required for this role.
