Capacity2learn Ltd are looking for a motivated individual with a minimum of 5 years experience to join our IT team to deliver front line IT Support in Primary Schools across Leicester city. Role is subject to a full criminal history check and clearance to work with children through a fully enhanced DBS or equivalent.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Microsoft & Apple Operating Systems and have strong skills in diagnosing and resolving software and hardware incidents.

Key Responsibilities (Include but not limited to):

· Provide 1st and 2nd Line Support face to face at client sites as well as using remote access software

· Integrate into small IT team and build relationships with client and supplier teams

· Responsible for solving hardware and software problems and prioritising faults

· Setting up and configuring IT systems and software for users, in accordance with company standards

· Project planning and implementation, maintain IT related documentation & helpdesk

Technical Skills:

· Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software systems, applications, and related products.

· Proven experience with systems planning, security principles, and general software management best practices.

· Working technical knowledge of current software protocols, and Internet standards.

· Extensive experience with core software applications, including MS365, educational packages (e.g. 2simple etc).

· Excellent software troubleshooting experience.

· Extensive application support experience within school environment would be an advantage.

· Working knowledge of network and PC operating systems, including Windows 8.1/10, Apple Products, applications & operating systems. Microsoft Windows 2012 R2/2016 Server/Network Services installation and administration (Inc TCP/IP, DNS, Group Policy, DHCP, RAS)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
