Job Summary:

As a Project Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of software projects. Your primary focus will be on stakeholder management, effective communication, and ensuring the implementation of software delivery best practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, quality assurance, and product management, to ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of projects. This role requires a strong understanding of project management methodologies, excellent interpersonal skills, and a deep knowledge of software development processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of software projects, ensuring they are completed within budget, scope, and schedule.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including clients, executives, project sponsors, and team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute project plans, including resource allocation, task assignments, and risk management.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, addressing any issues or risks promptly.
  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between team members, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
  • Identify and implement software delivery best practices, ensuring adherence to industry standards and methodologies.
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and report on financial aspects of the projects.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify areas for improvement and incorporate lessons learned into future projects.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and project management methodologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in project management, specifically in software delivery.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, executives, and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development processes, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile certifications (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster).
  • Experience in working with Agile development methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Familiarity with software development technologies, such as web and mobile applications, cloud platforms, or data analytics.
  • Knowledge of software quality assurance and testing processes.
  • Experience in managing offshore or distributed teams.

Previous experience in AI space is a BIG PLUS.
