Siemens Grid Software is recruiting for a Project Delivery Manager to join the growing metering business within Siemens. You will lead, motivate, and direct various sub-teams responsible for the delivery of projects from sales/tendering handover through to completion and handover to customers.
This role is based at our Rochester office, allowing you to work remotely for 2/3 days per week, adapting to our hybrid working environment.

Areas of Responsibility:
Lead and manage Project Delivery Team, motivate and develop dedicated employees.- Consult with customers on technical solutions.
- Clarify specification and continuously liaise with customers and wider Project Delivery team.
- Effective monitoring of projects performance - milestones and adherence to budgets, initiate actions to minimise non-conformance cost and facilitate appropriately informed decision making.
- Maintain constant communication with customers, outside contractors or other stakeholders.
- Champion PM@Siemens standards and Business Conduct Guidelines.
- Manage and coordinate all temporarily assigned project staff, ensure all projects have the necessary capacity, skill and operational capability for successful delivery.
- Create and maintain staff development plans, to include ongoing progression and succession.
What skills and experience you will bring to the role:
BSc / HNC / HND in electrical/electronic engineering or another relevant field.- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, being able to relate to individuals at all levels in an organisation and to establish and maintain respect both professionally and personally.
- Strong experience in leading, developing, organising, managing and delivering projects and operations, and personnel.
Desirable
- Experience of electrical instrumentation and control systems with a focus on energy metering.
- Knowledge of Electrical Transmission and Distribution Systems.
- Strong project management experience and formal qualification.
