Project Coordinator - Hybrid

toob is a new full-fibre broadband provider on a mission to transform the South of England’s internet experience by delivering the fastest broadband. toob have a bold plan to open its network to more than a million premises across the South of England over the next 10 years and want to play an active role in helping the communities around the area to thrive.

Due to the success of our business, we are looking to recruit a Project Coordinator. Supporting our busy Low Level Design Team, you will be responsible for tracking and driving the closure of BAU and ad hoc activities, providing administrative and workflow management support alongside creating and improving existing processes as we continue to expand our network.

As a Project Coordinator your key responsibilities will be:

  • ​Workflow reporting ​to cover all delivery Milestones (internal and external))
  • ​Summarise completions/progress and monitor priorities
  • ​Identify in a timely manner to the Programme Manager slippages or upcoming issues in the programme
  • ​Raise relevant finance and works instructions and issue to contractors
  • ​Arrange and schedule Joint Walk Outs (on site inspection of Network Design)
  • ​Provide cross-functional administrative support throughout the project lifecycle.
  • ​Administration and coordination of the Design Delivery Tracker​

Knowledge and experience:

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry
  • Demonstrable experience of structured working practices and project management principles​
  • Ability to react to fast moving and changing priorities, make decisions and drive actions ​
  • Strong Microsoft skills especially MS Excel ​
  • Proven track record of working in a multi-disciplinary team environment​
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, both verbal and written​
  • Highly effective at building and maintaining working relationships with internal and external suppliers and third parties
  • Resilient, self-driven and able to work autonomously.​
  • Previous experience of using Monday.com advantageous, but not a pre -requisite​
  • Project management certification; advantageous, but not a pre -requisite.

The role:

We are looking for a highly-effective Project Coordinator –Telecoms to support our busy In-Life Planning team. You will be responsible for tracking and driving the closure of BAU and ad hoc activities, providing administrative and workflow management support alongside creating and improving existing processes as we continue to grow our business.

Key Accountabilities & Decision Ownership:

  • Daily/weekly tracking of activity and milestones
  • Administration and coordination of the In-Life Planning board
  • Workflow reporting to cover all aspects of project life cycle (BADD board/ Diversionary C2 requests)
  • Summarise completions/progress and monitor priorities
  • Identify in a timely manner to the Project Manager slippages or upcoming issues in the programme
  • PIA (Physical Infrastructure Access) Reporting
  • Liaise with PMO in handover of design documentation to build
  • Raise relevant finance and works instructions and issue to contractors
  • Administer NOI requirement on small works and Infill Planning packs
  • Provide cross-functional administrative support throughout the project lifecycle.

Core competencies, knowledge and experience:

  • Experience in the telecoms sector- preferably within fibre delivery
  • Demonstrable experience of structured working practices and project management principles
  • Ability to react to fast moving and changing priorities, make decisions and drive actions
