Vibe Recruit are currently recruiting for a Project Co-Ordinator to work for UK's leading designer & manufacturer of performance metal door systems who are based in the Rumney area of Cardiff.
Job Purpose:
- The co-ordination of pre-contract supplier qualification responses for project-based sales.
- Manage project tender enquiries.
- To be the point of contact for project-based ‘on-site’ clients.
- Manage customer accounts to make sure credit limit is sufficient for Project size.
- Manage ‘quotations’ and ‘drawings for approval’ through internal support departments, whilst managing client expectations.
- Manage the recording of ‘Status A’ DFA sign-off.
- Manage Project cost variations.
- Track and record all relevant variations to project orders, ensuring all variations are updated within the customer’s purchase order.
- Liaise with key stakeholders within to ensure project delivery, post-order.
- Manage phasing and Project Tracker.
- To manage raising project orders with agreed delivery dates suitable for both parties.
Responsibilities:
- To comply with the company’s policies and procedures, particularly in respect of Quality, Health & Safety, Housekeeping, Environment, and Human Resources.
- Plan, manage, and deliver projects in line with the company’s strategy and values.
- To develop relationships with key contacts within project-based client businesses.
- Encourage early project planning, phasing, and forecasting.
- Ensure Project-related information is kept in order and is up to date.
- Communicate with all relevant internal departments to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of project-based sales, including feedback for improvements.
- Adhere to company safety standards and promote a safe working culture.
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm & Friday 7:30am - 2:00pm
Salary: £26,000 per annum
Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge of the Construction market.
- Strong influencing and communication skills at all levels within an organisation.
- Ability to manage a high volume of work, short deadlines, and problem-solve.
- Solid understanding of providing solutions and following best practices.
