At UL Solutions, we know why we come to work: Cimteq by UL Solutions is the leading provider of software for the design and manufacture of wire and cables, which is used by some of the largest wire and cable manufacturers around the world, with over 95% of our customer base located outside of the UK.

Our software is used to design cables for power transmission and communications, over the ground, under the sea, through the air and even in space. We are undergoing an exciting transformation as we bring new products to market to support our ambitious growth plans.
What you’ll learn & achieve::
  • As Project Coordinator you will be responsible for the success delivery of projects, both external and internal, within scope, to time and cost.
  • Day to day you will manage implementation projects, both large and small, and report progress to the Project Manager.
  • Driving improvement of quality alongside the Project Manager.
  • Work with the Project Manager to define the methodologies and working practices that will be followed within the project team.
  • Showing excellent customer facing experience, interacting with customers as required.
  • Keeping abreast of new project management best practices and promote the benefits of using them.
  • Have a good understanding of the Wire and Cable Industry and be able to speak to all staff levels within an organization.
  • You have a good understanding of Cable Builder and Cable MES to a level where you can demonstrate their use to a potential customer.

  • University degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exposure to a high-pressure working environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work closely and develop professional relationships with customers.
  • Proven experience of successful delivery of software projects.
  • Demonstrated experience and skills in business analysis and requirement gathering.
  • Proven customer relationship management with a strong customer service focus.
  • The role may involve significant worldwide travel and the need to travel with limited notice.
