As we expand with new restaurant openings, we're searching for an Associate Project Coordinator, IT, skilled in coordinating technology installations, upgrades, integration, and repair in both new and existing restaurants. This role, with its cross-functional responsibilities, requires robust coordination skills, a knack for working with various organizations and vendors, and proficiency in project management.

As an Associate Project Coordinator, IT, you'll be an integral part of our team, demonstrating leadership, striving for goals, and working effectively with multiple teams.

In your role, you will be quickly immersed in the New Restaurant Opening (NRO) process, lending support and staying updated on progress, risks, changes, and issue resolution. Being adept with the technology used in Sweetgreen restaurants will be beneficial, and you may be asked to handle some administrative tasks when needed. With guidelines and instructions from the Project Coordinator, you'll manage hardware shipping and receiving with the support center and collaborate closely with our store development and operations team to meet their requirements.

One of your main tasks will be issue tracking - identifying potential problems, keeping them documented, escalating when necessary, and working towards their resolution. You'll also play a crucial role in coordinating configurations to support technology installation and manage any required applications.

As time goes on, you'll participate in procuring technology equipment, always keeping an eye out for opportunities to save costs. Eventually, you will take charge of coordinating technology installation and configuration for NROs and existing restaurants. This will involve setting up and facilitating meetings with vendors and internal teams, reviewing project prioritization, documentation, and status, and escalating to the Project Coordinator as needed.

Your role will involve coordinating multiple NRO projects simultaneously, and you'll be the main point of contact for all IT related activities. Additionally, you'll be responsible for keeping our Project Dashboards updated.

Desired Qualifications:

• BA, BS required (in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline is a plus)
• 2-3 years experience in coordinating Restaurant Technology or IT projects preferred
• Agile Project management skills, including the ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Basic proficiency in Agile Methodology
• Planning, organizational, and leadership skills
• Able to work calmly under high pressure
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal skills, including the ability to create effective presentations and communicate technical concepts to non-technical clients
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
• Meeting facilitation and negotiation skills
• Good business judgment
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Be able to lift 50 lbs for equipment receiving, configuration and shipping
