The role
The Software Project Coordinator will be responsible for managing daily work and supporting project related activities within Product and Tech team. This role requires an individual with good organisation and communication skills who is comfortable working as part of the technical teams, connecting them to the business requests, providing structure and defining the ongoing work backlog.
This hands-on role requires an ability to support key Product and Tech team stakeholders while keeping documentation and work tracking resources up to date, managing development meetings and leading on the delivery of key recurring business products. Equally important is the desire to understand software application delivery models, supporting infrastructure and best practice in software project management techniques, both agile and waterfall. This role would be a great fit for someone looking to engage in the tech space, with room for future development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the incoming queue of development work across LBR’s products and technical systems
- Streamline work, flag risks and resolve blockers across several software development teams
- Communicate with key business stakeholders on the status of the work in progress
- Lead the delivery of annual recurring tasks with advance planning, delivery monitoring and stakeholder communications
- Enable cross-stream collaboration between technical teams during task delivery
- Facilitate the running of technical projects as a part of the project delivery teams
- Ensure Jira and any physical work boards accurately reflect current progress and priorities for respective teams
- Facilitate knowledge accumulation, sharing and management within the department
- Maintain effective working relationships with your colleagues
- Work within the company’s processes and support key LBR initiatives
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Structural problem-solver with high levels of organisation, excellent time management skills
- Agile and adaptable, address any issues with a positive attitude
- Excellent facilitation skills, communication, and prioritization abilities
- Task and/or project management systems knowledge (Jira, MS Project, Trello or similar)
- Technical knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
- Enthusiastic and proactive, demonstrates initiative and resourcefulness
- Continuous improvement mindset with focus on learning and development
- Ideally experienced in working with technical and software teams
- Ideally has knowledge and experience with agile work delivery models or Scrum master experience
