Job description
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join the eCommerce Future team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting and facilitating the successful execution of various eCommerce lead projects (Future and Strategic BAU).
This individual will work closely with the delivery and project teams, and stakeholders to help ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet Asda governance standards. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating project activities, tracking progress, managing documentation, and communicating updates to all relevant parties.
Your Role
- Project Coordination: Assist the project managers in planning, organising, and executing project activities.
- Documentation Management: Support the project managers in maintaining project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, and RAID items.
- Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration among project and deliver team members, stakeholders, and external vendors. Act as a primary point of contact for delivery-related queries.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify and capture potential risks, issues, and dependencies that may impact project timelines or outcomes. Escalate critical issues to project managers for resolution.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor project activities to ensure adherence to Asda governance and good practice. Conduct regular quality checks and audits on project documentation.
- Budget Tracking: Assist in monitoring project budgets, and resource allocation. Provide regular updates on budget status to eCommerce Delivery Lead.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend best practices to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
About You
Previous project coordination experience and experience working in cross-functional teams is desirable.
- Detail Orientated: Keen attention to detail and accuracy in project documentation, tracking, and reporting.
- Strong Organisational Skills: Exceptional ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Collaborative Attitude: Proven track record of working collaboratively with teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify, assess, and address project-related challenges.
- Proficient with Project Management Tools: Familiarity with project management software, collaboration tools, and productivity suites (e.g., Microsoft Office, Project Online, JIRA) is preferred.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt quickly to changing project requirements, priorities, and deadlines.
