Job Title: Project Controller
Location: Portsmouth Broad Oak, Cowes, Great Baddow, we offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements - please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role.
Salary: Up to £51,380 depending on experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Being responsible for the project controls aspects for at least one significant Radar project, depending on demand. This includes working closely with the project manager in planning, cost control, risk analysis, and reporting.
- Sharing knowledge and collaboration with the wider P&TS PM&C community
- Supporting bids and taking the lead on various project control system mobilisation activities
Your skills and experiences:
Essential:
- Significant PM&C experience demonstrated in a professional role within a complex business or project including Earned Value Management
- Proven understanding of a range of PM&C tools techniques and practices
- Good knowledge of the PM&C capability landscape including with Professional institutions
- Ability to influence internal stakeholders to achieve business success and to capture, evaluate and share best practice
- Ability to work well in a team
- Experience in project planning software, for example Microsoft Project.
Desirable:
- Good knowledge and experience of PM&C governance and assurance processes such as Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and as Assessor of PM&C aspects at LCM Reviews
- PM&C Qualifications e.g., AMP-PMQ
- Experience of conducting SRA (schedule risk analysis)

The Radar Project Control team:

As a Project Controller, you will set up and operate PM&C processes on a medium to large project or be responsible for some aspects of PM&C (for example scheduling) on a larger and more complex project, you will get experience in a variety of process steps, with the potential for future advancement.
