LOB Specific Description:

Creates and reviews Spanish language translations of marketing and disclosure materials across Consumer, Small Business, and Wealth Management products and services. Marketing and Disclosure materials are for various channels including ATM, financial centers, digital content on the Bank of America website/mobile banking, statements, direct mail campaigns and other product and servicing organizations.

Liaison for Marketing and Disclosure with our enterprise translation agency to monitor quality, ensure consistency across communications and provide updates to the translation memory (the central repository where past Spanish language translations are housed). On average, will review 250+ content pages per month.

Required Skills: (Must have these skills to be minimally qualified)

• 3+ years of strategy development, change management, or related experience
• 3+ years of prior translation experience
• Distinguished listening, verbal, and writing skills with keen attention to detail in Spanish and English languages
• Must pass Bank of America testing for Spanish language certification
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload, work with short deadlines and perform well under pressure
• Self-starter with effective interpersonal skills and ability to solicit input from others
• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a virtual team
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Pro

Desired Skills:

• 5+ years of experience in Marketing, Banking, Credit Card, Deposits, Wealth Management or Process Design focused on content translation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to think strategically, operationally, and creatively
• Proven history of applying creativity & logic to solve problems
• Demonstrated use of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and project management tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM)
• Prior issue management and ability to identify, diagnose, escalate, and resolve production issues in collaboration with vendor, technology, strategy, and other partners
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience

Enterprise Role Overview:

Responsible for medium - large projects for an operations department, product or business unit. Provides consulting expertise to line managers on productivity issues, analyzes market and operational impact in the business brought about by the project parameters. Researches and documents organizational reviews, workflow analysis, management and staff analysis. Develops project plans including estimates of cost and resources required. Defines project scope to others outside of operations that may become involved in or impacted by the project. Requires a thorough knowledge of the operations area.
