We are looking for Project Assistants with well-developed IT and ESR skills to join a project team tasked with system development following the merger of the 2 ESR accounts for the NCA.
The People Information Systems team provide a service for the whole of the NCA. We manage the Electronic Staff Records System (ESR) which holds HR, training and payroll information for all the staff employed across the Trust.
You will work as part of a dynamic team supporting the expansion and delivery of the ESR and Financial Ledger Alignment work across the NCA.
The People Information Systems Team is based at Whitney Court, Oldham. The office is close to the centre of Oldham and has good access to public transport links and there is an on-site car park.
We provide full training to team members and once training has been completed are able to offer the opportunity of a mix of both office based and home working. IT is provided to support this.
The post holders will work closely with finance and a wide range of stakeholders including senior leaders and front-line practitioners across the NCA to ensure a robust process for the setting up and ongoing maintenance of establishment control within ESR to reflect ledger. This will support the production of vacancy reporting information from ESR at a variety of levels in the organisation.
This includes working with support from the ESR National Team to enhance ESR by taking advantage of available functionality including setting up an establishment control and review process. Working with relevant staff across the NCA to standardise and cleanse data in ESR will form a further part of the role.
Previous experience in an ESR based role will be an advantage and a high level of IT and data manipulation skills will be essential.
