Project Assistant Oakland, CA
Job description
We are looking for a project assistant to support the accounting team in our Oakland office! The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of experience working as a project assistant or coordinator preferably in the construction industry. They should have a solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Deltek Vision. They must be able to juggle many tasks while working in a high-energy environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist all Project Accountants with monitoring and submitting information in Deltek Vision.
- Assist in the preparation of draft letters (MS Word) and emails (MS Outlook) for project-related correspondence (proposals, additional service requests, etc.).
- Update and maintain electronic lists (MS Outlook, MS Excel, and/or Google Docs).
- Assist with tracking project billing and creating monthly progress reports.
- Track and monitor outstanding issues for active projects until each issue is resolved.
- Track and monitor meetings and attendees lists.
- Update and maintain engineering libraries of agency standards & product catalogs, hard copy and/or electronic copy.
- Visit sites to photograph existing site conditions (requires automobile and driver’s license).
- Pick-up/drop-off of project items (requires automobile and driver’s license).
Software Proficiencies Required:
- MS Word
- MS Excel
- MS Outlook
- PDF editor (Bluebeam Revu preferred)
- Google Docs
- Deltek Vision
- AutoCAD experience is a plus but not required
A driver’s license is required

- Annualized salary range: $44,300- $65,800
