Who We Are Looking For
A Projects & Systems Administrator whois responsible for assisting changes made within SAP, maintaining various SharePoint sites and process governance. As well as working closely with the Projects & Change Governance Consultant on programme and project work that takes place within Shared Services (SCM, IT, HR, GBS, and Project Planning & Delivery); providing support to Shared Services Key Users as required.
Responsibilities
This is a development role and the Projects & Systems Administratorwill fulfil and support the tasks assigned by the Project & Change Governance Consultant. The incumbent’s competence will be continually assessed and upon being deemed fully competent, will move to the role of Projects & Systems Co-ordinator.
The individual will be required to carry out essential testing within SAP and SharePoint to validate that changes have been successful and then train HR Key Users and local process experts on the changes made. This may expand to other areas within Shared Services.
· Assist with changes required within SAP and processes to support business needs and governance and controls (Organisation Management, security, and process adherence)
· In collaboration with the wider Project Planning and Delivery team, assist on Shared Services projects; participate and support testing of system changes
· Support the maintenance, monitoring, and enhancement of existing Shared Services processes to deliver efficiencies, reducing administrative effort whilst improving governance and maintaining system integrity.
· Update training documentation to reflect controlled changes and formally roll out to relevant users of process changes
· Managing the tickets in Richmond, discussing with IT, considering solutions to put to the team, resolving issues, giving feedback to business representative
· Service request management – org management, security, process support
· Support with “SAP Co-ordinator” level duties such as expediting Richmond support tickets and SAP-HR Support Helpdesk queries raised by Key Users; acting as focal point between Key Users and SAP Support and handling authorisation requests.
· Support Key Users in use of various systems in their day to day roles and the wider Shared Services community as and when required.
· Provide back up support training to users and administrators in use of SAP (initially HRIS).
· Work with Local Process Experts within wider key user community to ensure knowledge is shared effectively and is consistently applied.
· Carry out testing in the Quality Assurance system, as instructed by Project Managers and document results.
· Testing co-ordination – end to end (excluding unit testing), and management of defects
· Use Quadrate software to upload mass change data into SAP, in conjunction with the SAP Functional Consultant.
· Testing execution – functional, regression, UAT
· Access, share and manage personal information relating to employees and colleagues in line with company and legal requirements regarding data protection and confidentiality
Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
· Educated to degree level
· Admin experience desirable
Job Specific Skills:
· Knowledge of SAP
· Experience in training on new changes from project implementation
· Exposure to assisting with various testing and implementation of projects (business and systems)
· Working with personal information relating to employees and colleagues in line with company and legal requirements regarding data protection and confidentiality
Generic Skills:
· English Language
· Microsoft Office Skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel), Visio and MS Projects Microsoft SharePoint
