The Estimation Team is a multiskilled team which combines a mixture of profiles in order for us to be able to service the Bank by analysing their Project requirements and offering them the best Infrastructure solution and pricing we can possible offer.
As a team we try to learn as much as we can from each other as well as getting involved in the projects not just as individuals but also as a group, that way we aim to provide a pristine service with a ‘willing to help’ attitude along the E2E process we manage.
The difference you’ll make.
- Validating new requests on arrival querying technical and financial aspects.
- Tracking new work requests from customers, quality checking content, collate responses containing costs and effort. A consolidated response is then returned to the customer within an agreed SLA and tracked,
- Engaging with the Technical teams and coordinate the infrastructure tasks required in order to build the infrastructure required for each project.
- Dealing with general PMO tasks, supporting the Project Managers, Technical Leads and Finance departments.
- Validating the financial aspect of the estimation and provide the final checkout before sharing it with the business.
- Accurate Reporting for the Estimator team & MI reporting for defined KPIs.
What you’ll bring.
- Experience in a Project Co-ordination/PMO role with the ability to learn fast and calmly under pressure
- Experience with tracking of financials and awareness of key planning and project management methods, tools and techniques.
It would also be nice for you to have.
- Have strong organisation and planning skills to manage multiple projects so that promises are delivered.
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills and able to manage stakeholders at all levels
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Be effective in a team environment and be willing to contribute to collective targets, collaborating with IT Business Unit colleagues to achieve successful delivery of projects or evolution of products.
What else you need to know.
This is a full time permanent position in a team which is currently based in Milton Keynes.
It will be a hybrid working role between office and home – time in the office to be agreed with your manager, typically this is a minimum 40% of the working week.
