The Role
As Project Administrator you will be an essential part of the euNetworks Project Management Office (PMO), helping to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
You will be responsible for providing vital support to the project Managers in planning, executing, and closing telecommunication projects.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual who can adapt quickly, work collaboratively, and thrive in a dynamic environment. While specific technical/Telecomms skills and experience are beneficial, we are primarily looking for candidates who possess the right attitude and aptitude and can be trained to excel in the role.
What will you be doing?
- Project Documentation: Create, update, and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, status reports, meeting minutes, and other project-related materials.
- Project Coordination: Facilitate project meetings, conference calls, and workshops. Ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines, and follow up on task progress.
- Communication Management: Foster effective communication between project team members, stakeholders, and management. Escalate issues to the appropriate channels as needed.
- Risk and Issue Management: Identify, monitor, and track project risks and issues. Collaborate with the project team to develop mitigation plans and escalate critical risks to project management.
- Budget and Cost Tracking: Work closely with finance and project managers to monitor project budgets, track expenses, and assist in cost forecasting.
- Vendor Coordination: Liaise with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors to manage procurement, deliveries, and service agreements.
- Change Management: Assist in managing changes to project scope, schedule, and resources, ensuring that all changes are properly documented and approved.
- Reporting: Generate regular progress reports for stakeholders and project management, highlighting project status, key milestones, risks, and issues.
Team structure: You will be providing guidance and support to graduates and apprentices
You will receive guidance and support from Project Managers and Programme Managers
What do we want from you?
- Experience: While prior experience in a project administration or coordination role is advantageous, we welcome candidates with diverse backgrounds and experiences who have a strong desire to learn and contribute.
- IT Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project), project management tools, or collaboration platforms is a plus but not mandatory. We value candidates with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and industries.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders at all levels.
- Organizational Skills: Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrated ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and escalate critical matters when necessary.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
- Adaptability: Capable of working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and embracing change as opportunities for growth.
- Telecom Knowledge: Familiarity with telecommunications terminology, technologies, and industry trends is advantageous but not required. We are committed to providing training and support to help you succeed.
