Progress Tutor - Apprenticeships
Applications are invited for the role of Progress Tutor, to support and monitor degree apprentices on a range of programmes including Chartered Manager, Senior Leader, B2B Sales Professional, Digital Marketer and Supply Chain Leadership Professional.
The successful applicants will be responsible for supporting a group of apprentices throughout their programme, through regular tripartite Progress Review meetings which include the apprentice and their manager/mentor. Progress Tutors will monitor progress of the apprentices, and act as a point of contact for personal, academic or progress-related support. You will develop a good knowledge of the apprenticeship standards, and the academic programmes which underpin them.
We are seeking individuals with some experience of supporting students in a work-place setting. Knowledge of degree/higher apprenticeships would be an advantage, as would professional experience and/or experience of Further or Higher Education delivery in related academic areas. Above all the successful applicants need to be able to demonstrate a passion for learning and a commitment to providing the highest level of student and learning support.
Hours of work will be 35 hours per week. Progress review meetings will be held at a variety of locations and via Microsoft Teams.
This role will be located at Leeds Trinity University campus in Horsforth, Leeds and may involve travel through the West Yorkshire area. Through our agile working framework, there will also be the option to spend some time working remotely, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
