Role Summary
We are looking for a Global Programming Specialist within the Global Content Strategy & Operations (CS&O) team. In this role, you will report into the Global Programming Lead and act as an in-app expert when it comes to content. From how content is produced and tagged to how it is distributed and consumed, the ideal candidate will be able to take this knowledge and translate it into various workstreams. What is the best taxonomy to capture what's happening in-app? Which global tentpoles will drive the largest impact for the platform? Do programming levers have an impact, both short and long-term, on our users and how should we utilise them as a result? For those who may self-identify as curious or wonky. This role can be based out of London, Madrid, Berlin, or Paris.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Global Content taxonomy and any updates in methodology or optimisations in process alongside Global Business Intelligence, Global User Ops, and Regional teams
- Work with Global Vertical Leads and Regional CS&O teams to develop a Global Content Calendar with a long-view (i.e., 12-18 months in advance), to kickoff initiative planning, forecast content budgets, and confirm resource allocation
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams on Measurement workstream, to better understand the areas of the business where Content can drive incremental value
- Manage programming leads who will craft content playbooks in collaboration with Global Vertical Leads and Regional CS&O teams that are then utilised across the broader content org
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher. Should have an understanding of data taxonomy (e.g., parent vs. child), and ideally be proficient in SQL and visual dashboards
- 5-7 years of experience in a data, distribution, production, programming, or strategy role. Background in media and/or tech preferred, with noted interest in the content space.
- Professional working proficiency in multiple languages is a huge plus.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, good team spirit, willing to accept challenges, and the ability to collaborate with a diverse range of people and job functions.
- Strong ability to foster relationships and work cross-functionally, especially with global teams in different time-zones.
