Job description
Predominantly based from home, the post-holder will be responsible for coordinating and delivering programmes of work for each of the 6 integrated care boards (ICB) within the East of England. The role will involve a close working relationship with the Local Maternity and Neonatal Systems (LMNS), maternity services within each of the ICSs and the ICS workforce teams.
This is an 18-month secondment opportunity, to support the 6 senior clinical leads across the East region. Location of the role is home based, however this will be determined on appointment.
The programme support officer will be responsible for supporting the 6 senior clinical leads for the maternity workforce programme, ensuring that there is robust reporting and governance of the programme workstreams.
This role will have a focus primarily on supporting the LMNS and the maternity service leads with maternity workforce development and transformation initiatives, as defined by local, regional, and national priorities. The role will also work with stakeholders across the entire local health and care system to support strategic and policy initiatives. The role will be required to lead on/coordinate different portfolios of work across the across the East of England.
