What will I be doing?

The position of Programme Manager has responsibility for managing the day-to-day execution of assigned programmes to ensure project processes are followed, deliverables align with original specifications, and projects are on time, budget and meet key milestones.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:-

  • Deliver highly successful global and UK digital campaigns, being the day to day contact to the client and developing excellent relationships
  • Create and review project plans and timelines
  • Monitor project profitability and cost management
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of the financial status of your programmes including revenue and billings status
  • Mitigate project delays; offering creative and practical solutions to overcome development issues
  • Modify schedules and/or project plans as necessary and regularly update the project team
  • Provide weekly report updates to the project team regarding program successes and issues, providing ongoing risk-management communications to management
  • Communicate program goals and status to the client and project team as and when is required
  • Schedule and facilitate program initiation, planning and review meetings
  • Provide monthly campaign reports to clients; spotting trends and providing useful and thoughtful commentary
  • Provide strong team representation by providing regular communications to both internal and external stakeholders

What skills and experience are required?:-

  • Proven ability of building strong external and internal relationships and surpassing expectations
  • Experience of managing accounts and relationships for multiple customers at a European or global level
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills, with the ability to efficiently coordinate and work on multiple tasks simultaneously in a highly deadline-driven environment
  • Ability and desire to meet deadlines and deliver results with minimum supervision by creatively using existing resources in a productive and/or innovative way, to quickly deal with unforeseen issues, manage conflicting interests between teams and identify compromise and/or solutions to ensure that timelines are consistently met
  • Self-motivated, positive attitude, and very high energy with a willingness to accept varied assignments
  • Extreme focus on accuracy, attention to detail and consistency of work
  • Comfortable with presenting statistical information
  • Well organised and able to balance multiple simultaneous projects
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and team-building skills
  • Ability to organise and motivate large cross-functional teams
  • Strong project management approach of "responsible and driving" the programs versus passive 'reporting’ on status
