The Role
The Programme Operations Officer role is an exciting opportunity to join the Sheffield Hallam University in London Programme Team (based in Sheffield).
This is a key role providing direct support to the London Campus leadership team and providing wider administrative support to the programme team to support the delivery of our plans and objectives.
Although initially focused on the ‘Sheffield Hallam in London’ work, the scope of the role is also expected to support other ‘Diversification’-related strategic programmes and projects including, Sheffield Hallam in London, Online and other related projects.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience of providing executive support to senior leaders, providing administrative support to complex multi-disciplinary teams and experience of working in a project or programme environment.
The Team
The role sits within the newly created ‘Sheffield Hallam in London’ team which has been formed to support the definition, design and implementation of the new London Campus in Brent Cross.
Sheffield Hallam’s London campus will provide a new teaching and research base for the University in north-west London, offering subjects and skills that are in high demand in the area.
The London campus will be an integrated part of the Hallam offer, meaning we can enhance our provision with dual locations for teaching, learning, work-based activities, consultancy and research and development. We’re aiming to open the campus from 2025/26, and to have up to 5,000 students by 2030.
The team is led by Linda Mason, Programme Director, and supported by Luke Desforges, as Academic Director, and Holly Stainburn as Professional services Director, with colleagues from Transformation and wider business areas supporting delivery.
