Together an Active Future (TaAF) is an exciting, innovative and multi-million pound physical activity and behaviour change programme in Pennine Lancashire (Blackburn with Darwen, Burnley, Hyndburn, Pendle, Ribble Valley and Rossendale). Funded by Sport England until at least March 2025, we are one of twelve national Local Delivery Pilots tasked with finding solutions to address the challenge of engrained physical inactivity. TaAF has grown and evolved over recent years and we now have several teams delivering a broad and varying range of physical activity / behaviour change projects in their places.

As we deepen and expand our work and move into the next phase we need excellent people to join our collective team in order to secure robust processes; create simple and sustainable ways of working and use innovation and analytical skills to problem solve, plan and elevate TaAF to the next level


This post is an opportunity to enjoy using sound organisational and programme management fundamentals combined with coaching and leadership skills within an innovative and flexible space, supporting great people to influence and deliver successful and sustainable change.


The role will be focussed on providing robust programme development and organisational management for the rapidly emerging and expanding leadership, training and behaviour change work-stream of the Accelerator phase – deepening and widening TaAF’s reach using a strengths based approach to influence and embed place based changes to support physical activity
