What You’ll Do
- Manage the OPEX Performance team across the functions of financial management, resourcing, performance reporting, compliance, and operational Vendor Management
- Manage and develop the OPEX team members appropriately
- Ensure Vodafone UK has a coherent IT OPEX Investment Plan, linked to current business objectives, aligned with Group and UK strategies and supported by solid budget and resource plans to ensure successful delivery and optimisation of funding. Ensuring this plan is communicated and reported on accurately and effectively to all stakeholders and any challenges or issues are addressed
- Transform the OPEX investment planning processes across IT in the UK to ensure that value is delivered to VF and the UK business
- Drive continuous improvement across IT compared to defined deliverables and benchmarks
- Provide accurate and outcome-based management information for long and short term decision making
Who You Are
- You will have cross functional end to end technical project delivery experience
- You will ideally possess a Professional Qualification such as Prince 2 / SAFe / APMG or significant equivalent experience
- You will have a good understanding of the application and software development lifecycle
- You will have an appreciation of technical change / transformation experience
- You will have experience of managing cross-cultural teams
- You will have an appreciation for leadership & the ability to manage, motivate & develop a direct team and in a matrix environment.
