Job description
As a Programme Manager, you will be directly responsible for the effective performance of the DWP Mid-Life MOT programme. This has been designed to encourage and enable people to stay in work longer and enjoy a more secure retirement through helping them take stock of their Work, Wealth, and Wellbeing.
Based from home, with requirement to travel around the UK, you will ensure that all actions are taken to deliver the contract to agreed quality, compliance and performance standards whilst remaining in budget. You will have direct line management responsibility for the Operational Team & delivery partners across the North East and will report KPI’s/ market trends to the Operations Director.
You will ensure smooth running of the contract by leading and coaching the team, monitoring KPI’s and analysing trends. You will also implement strategies to maximise teams’ performance, prepare and deliver presentations at partner & employer events and take ownership of expenditure, budgets and forecasting.
What we are looking for;
We are looking for an innovative and leading senior manager, with experience of successfully monitoring and overachieving business targets, whilst ensuring smooth running of contracts.
You should have;
- Proven ability to handle major change and complex projects, whilst managing teams to deliver and overachieve business targets.
- Strong local knowledge, experience in managing/developing strategies for DWP contracts.
- Extensive experience of Senior team management across multiple sites and multiple contracts
- Strong leadership / relationship building skills and excellent communication.
- Ideally have a qualification in Business Management and/or Membership to professional body, however not essential.
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout UK as required to carry out the role.
Please note, this is a remote based role with requirement to travel across the UK. Therefore, Full Driving license and own transport is essential.
