In this role, you will work with the India and UK based Data Management and Engineering Directors, Architecture and the wider unit, where you will establish our primary standards, processes and frameworks and roadmap for transformation, delivery and decommissioning.
What you’ll be doing
- You'll translate the strategy into investment cases and look forward, define and drive transformation programmes. You'll understand the business needs and drive opportunities presented by technology developments in context of customer demands.
- You'll also lead vendor management and ensure the right governance and measures are in place. Taking a balanced view, you'll provide technical and commercial challenge, to ensure the best solutions are being delivered and drive step change improvements.
- You'll facilitate direct working between the Business and Technology. Ensure the right governance is understood and maintained and measures are in place (Speed, Value, Efficiency, Quality) to enable measuring and maximising value from Technology suppliers (internal and third party). Risks and issues proactively identified and managed.
Experience you'll have
- You'll have significant experience of leading and delivering complex projects, financials, resources, including third party suppliers, and project deliverables (5+ years).
- Experience of working across a wide range of internal and external business and technology stakeholders to align plans and deliver business outcomes
- Story-telling with data: strong skills in building the case for change using data and analytical techniques, and communicating this to business audiences. You evaluate and identify opportunities for improvement, cost optimisation and migration and/ or retirement.
- Experience in building and maintaining strong relationships at Director-level.
