Job description
Location: Flexible either Tiverton, Hitchin, Willenhall. Travel is required to multiple sites around the UK.
A market-leading door manufacturer based between Tiverton, Hitchin and Willenhall are currently looking for an experienced and motivated Project Officer. This is a exciting and high-profile role within a market-leading door manufacturer which would give an excellent platform for someone who is looking for future development within the organisation.
The role can be best described as a facilitator. On each project you will have an initial discussion and fact find with the department. This could be as a group session, a workshop or even one to ones’s with individuals at all levels. You will then gather all relevant data and information that could be required to put a solution together. You will then collaborate with the Operational Excellence team to come up with workable solutions in line with the suggestions the department has and then present these back to the department.
The Project Officer Role will need to possess the following skills & experience:
- We are looking for a confident organised and self-motivated individual who has the ability to gather information from individuals working at all levels within the business.
- You will need to have knowledge / experience of continuous improvement, Lean techniques and methodologies
- Be comfortable with carrying out presentation sessions with small to large groups of peoples from various backgrounds and hierarchical levels
- Comfortable with the use of all MS products to include Teams and Excel
- Power automate, Power Bi and SHAREPOINT would be advantageous.
- Project management training and Lean methodology training would be advantageous, along with an awareness of GDPR and user knowledge of SAP
- Lastly, happy to cover national travel for up to 50% of your time/
