We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced programme manager to join our Health Improvement Division on a fixed term or secondment basis. The post is an opportunity to work within a public health team dedicated to supporting implementation of the new Health and Well-being Area of Learning and Experience across progression stages.
The Division is developing a programme of work to support the implementation of the new Health and Well-being Area of Learning and Experience in primary and secondary-age schools. This programme is part of the Health Improvement Division's wider Education Settings Public Health Programme which includes several streams of work including the Welsh Network of Healthy Schools Schemes and the Healthy and Sustainable Pre Schools Scheme.
The role will provide programme management to the health and well-being curriculum workstream focused on the development of supportive frameworks for the effective application of health and well-being topics and activities to meet learners' identified needs within the statements of what matters. This exciting new role will facilitate co-construction of frameworks with health and education partners to best meet the needs of learners and settings during a period of significant change, challenge and opportunity.
This role will provide robust programme management oversight working with the Consultant in Public Health lead and wider Education settings team to ensure the programme delivers on its milestones .
