What you’ll do
The Profitability Reporting Lead is role is responsible for defining and driving best in class profitability analytics for Vodafone’s UK Enterprise Business. The role holder will work across stakeholder groups to drive delivery using emerging capabilities to achieve a step change in value based analytics and reporting. Key accountabilities include:
- Product Owner for Vodafone UK Enterprise Business profitability modelling including definition and prioritisation of the Product Backlog
- Understand the data landscape around profitability reporting including organisation and product taxonomy, hierarchies, source system landscape and data flows
- Define and own the roadmap for delivery of profitability analytics by segment
- Actively support business users in definition of clear, value-add Use Cases aligned to the roadmap
- Work with business users to validate understanding of model logic and drive adoption. Lead presentation of progress to C-suite stakeholders
Who you are
- Extensive experience in a commercial and financial analysis environment, preferably within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong interpretative skills that go beyond mere numbers, enabling you to generate hypotheses and provide valuable business recommendations.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, coupled with a creative problem-solving approach and a genuine passion for continuous learning and professional development.
- Excellent team working and communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. You should also possess the ability to challenge and influence key stakeholders, aligning their vision with the objectives of the team.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery methodology is desirable, although not essential.
- A finance professional who is also adept at handling data, with a solid understanding of the capabilities of tools used for analyzing large datasets.
- Capable of taking on the role of a product owner or product manager, assessing current processes as part of a program, and translating them into a finance/business-related context.
