Reporting directly into the Director of Operations, supporting the overall Operations department to ensure growth and success of learndirect's Trinity courses, working collaboratively with other senior managers in the Group.
learndirect are seeking a professional individual to maintain and manage the existing CertTESOL Trinity courses and to support and deliver upon the Group’s strategic objectives, through delivering the necessary changes to make a scalable product for overall organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- To take full ownership of the profitability for the Trinity TESOL Faculty, ensuring that the faculty continues in a profitable manner, and operates in line with overall Group financial objectives
- To deliver the effective training, recruitment, and onboarding of associates relative to the Trinity faculty, to ensure we have sizeable, and scalable headcount to deliver appropriate educational training on an ongoing basis
- To lead on the people management of all necessary Trinity faculty associates to deliver all cohorts as needed by the business. To include distribution of workload, support and necessary training as and when required by associates.
- Effective and consistent use of different technology systems, such as Atom LMS, Microsoft packages in particular Excel to drive process efficiencies throughout the faculty, and accuracy of data input and manipulation for all tasks. To ensure robust management of necessary data to provide a scalable product fit for further growth in line with operational objectives.
- Constant review of available technology to identify the best method of delivery for this course, adapting course structure and processes to benefit from new technology options.
- To own and lead on the creation and delivery of all course content within the faculty to ensure effective course provision. To utilise feedback channels and continuous improvement processes to ensure all course content is fit for purpose and up to date.
- To review overall faculty performance, including individual associate performance, and identify any potential improvements that may be required. Assess the effectiveness of the faculty periodically, placing focus on optimum delivery and learner success.
- Create an environment in which people feel supported, valued, and accountable.
- To be the primary liaison with necessary awarding organisations (AO) to effectively build strong working relationships and ensure the required delivery of courses.
- To manage and assess all Teaching Practice students’ numbers, placing importance and focus on the scalability of the faculty in order to effectively achieve faculty growth and success. To assist and address overall organisational objectives through achieving faculty scalability.
What we are looking for in you:
- Qualifications in DELTA or Trinity DipTESOL
- Previous experience of over 5 years delivering Trinity courses
- Previous experience of a Course Director role, with online delivery preferable
- Strong experience and knowledge of systems needed to deliver courses. Overall knowledge of technology and opportunities available to improve operations.
- Track record in identifying improvements to resolve issues and inefficiencies.
- Good attention to detail, with excellent organisational skills
- Experience with effective project management
- Energetic individual with a positive mindset and can-do attitude
- Strong people management and interpersonal skills
