Estates and Facilities Services is a major support service within UEL whose key role is to provide effective and secure management of our campuses.

About the Job

We are seeking an enthusiastic colleague to join our team of General Assistants to assist in the day-to-day operations of UEL’s buildings and grounds, including letter and parcel distribution and collection, manual handling tasks such as, furniture removal, classroom set-ups, operating compacting equipment (full training will be provided) and providing cover for the Post Room when needed.

About You

You will be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent vocational qualifications, with good written English skills. You will be customer-focused with excellent communication skills, physically fit and able to undertake the manual duties required. A proven ability to use your initiative while carrying out independent tasks is essential. Previous relevant experience is desirable.
