Monday - Thursday
16:00-20:00
Pay Rate £10.90
We are looking for a Part Time Production Operative to join a leading precious metals manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible to produce bespoke metals includes manufacturing tasks to ensure that products are finished to the highest standard.
Full competency is preferred.
Role responsibilities for Part time Production Operative
" Working to daily targets with a variety of precious metals
" Machine Operating
" Metal preperation and logistics
" Using Vernier and Micrometer for measurements
" Use of hand tools
" Quality inspection to a high standard
" Providing estimated finishing times for prospective enquiries
" Polishing barrels, appropriate application of polishing compound
" Assembly of small parts
" Ensuring workbench area is kept tidy all hand-tools are in a good state of repair and fit for purpose
Candidate will need:
" The ideal candidate for the Part time Production Operative will be confident working under their own direction and have an understanding that no two days are the same. A strong drive to fulfil customer expectations and commitments will be vital.
" For experienced applicants, a strong manufacturing background will be essential. The successful applicant must also have excellent team working skills, strong hand-eye coordination, good attention to detail and most importantly; enthusiasm for producing high quality product.
