Production Operative
Our client based in Swadlincote are looking to recruit a number of Production Operative on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis.
You will work as part of a team manufacturing wooden construction products.
Main duties:
- Assembly
- Ensuring quality and safety
- Using machinery
- Assist in general plant support
Production Operative - Additional details
· The suitable candidate will have previous assembly, production or manufacturing experience, be comfortable in the usage of hand tools, air guns and be able to work within a busy warehouse/factory environment. Training is provided.

Production Operative – Hours
We have vacancies on morning or afternoon shifts (fixed shifts)
·Monday to Friday 06:00am-02:45pm (mornings) 40-hours paid
·Monday to Friday 3:00pm-11:00pm (afternoons) 40-hours paid
Production Operative - Benefits
- £11.60-£13.10 p/h Standard hours (pay rate depends on experience)
- Overtime rates paid at:
o1.25x rate Mon-Fri
o1.5x rate Sat
o2.0x rate Sun
- Pay grades are as follows:
- £11.60
- £12.60
- £13.10

- Plenty of overtime available
