Cheshire Joinery Services Ltd is a manufacturing company producing bespoke hardwood windows and doors from our workshops in Great Barrow, Chester.
We are looking to employ an office junior for our workshop production office. The role will include the following tasks:
- purchase ordering with suppliers via email and phone
- receiving, checking and putting away all deliveries of consumables, ironmongery, wood and glass.
- completing all associated paperwork for purchases and file away
- stock control and completing weekly stock takes
- boxing up ironmongery for workshop batches
- general admin duties as required
The role will incorporate a mix of both admin and physical tasks and will suit someone who would like to learn about purchasing and the backroom tasks in a busy manufacturing business. It would suit a school leaver as well as someone with some experience.
You must be motivated, hard-working, and a team-player. You should possess good attention to detail and be confident in manner. You will need to be computer literate and have a willingness to learn.
You must have your own transport – car or bike – as we are not on a public transport route.
