Every year it manufactures more than 1.6 million units, leading the industry in both innovation and sustainability to suit a wide range of industries, from construction to security.

The Production Operator will be responsible for manufacturing steel fence components and gates.

Responsibilities:

• Following instruction from all Supervisors/Managers
• Ensuring that all set Production targets are met or exceeded
• Carry out general yard or labouring duties as required
• Ensuring that general housekeeping is to a high standard
• Operate a forklift truck or lorry loader (only if externally trained, certificated and authorised to do so)
• Operate other plant/machinery (only if trained and authorised to do so)
• Weld to a good and acceptable standard (only if trained and correctly authorised to do so);
• Ensure that all vehicles are correctly and safely loaded/unloaded
• Ensure that all equipment is of the correct quantity and fit for purpose
• Ensure that any defective plant/machinery/equipment is reported and quarantined as required
• Ensure that all employees carry out their duties in accordance with Company policies and procedures as set out in the Company Employee handbook and current legislation and risk assessments
• Report any accidents immediately
• Ensure all appropriate PPE is worn when required
• Ensure that the integrity and image of the Company is maintained at all times

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £12.00 per hour
