Job Brief

We are looking for an experienced Production & Warehouse Manager to oversee and coordinate the copacking, fulfilment and despatches of jobs at our warehouse in Thornbury. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic and forward-thinking individual to join a fast-growing print & copacking business.

The ideal candidate will have strong management skills as well as previous experience in production planning and warehouse management.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise production staff to ensure that the delivery of each job runs smoothly and efficiently.
Forward planning of jobs to ensure required components are delivered on time.
Monitor production standards, investigating and rectifying underperformance as well as identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Management of staff including reviews and disciplinaries.
Coaching and developing staff to ensure high performance and motivation.
Implementing and maintaining health & safety procedures, compliance, and other certifications.
Using the WMS to keep accurate records of goods in/out and stock held.
Maintain cost-effective production in line with targets set.
Provide accurate progress reports to directors on a regular basis.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience of managing a team.
Management of warehouse stock control system.
Ability to work under pressure on multiple jobs and manage priorities.
Good knowledge of MS office.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Quality focused, with good attention to detail and strives to get things right first time.
Shows a passion for what they do, is enthusiastic and shows initiative.

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
