Kenect Recruitment are looking to recruit a Production supervisor for our client based in East Belfast. Our client specialises in the manufacturing of bespoke cardboard packaging and boxes. You will be joining a growing business with progression opportunity
Responsibilities would include :
· Creating and maintaining schedules.
· Using workers and resources in the most effective manner.
· Providing quick responses to production issues.
· Identifying problems and helping improve processes.
· Using software to generate reports and schedules.
· Ensuring that company deadlines are met.
· Ensuring that production processes are in line with company and regulatory requirements
· Accurately completing all necessary documentation for regulatory compliance
· Informing a production team of preferred occupational health and safety practices
· Communicating expectations to production team members and evaluating their performance
· Implementing relevant emergency response procedures during emergency situations
· Regularly checking the machinery and checkpoints to ensure safe and efficient workflow
· Compiling reports about production and providing management with updates
· Managing the repair or replacement of faulty production equipment
· Ensuring all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly
Details:
· Based in Belfast site
· 39 hrs per week
· Working week will be either Mon-Thurs 7am-4pm & Friday 7am-12pm or Mon-Thurs 7am-5.15pm (this is yet to be decided)
· Ideally would like someone with experience in supervising a production floor & organising production schedules
Pay Rate
£24000 to £26000
