As Production Supervisoryou will:
Provide leadership and take responsibility for the Van or Truck Fitting Centre.
This is a very important role and a vital to the smooth and safe running of the workshop and the fulfilment of vehicle fit outs and conversions to the correct spec, within the specified hours, to the correct quality and on time.
Skills needed in man management, clear organization, forward thinking and planning along with the ability to work under pressure.
· Attention to detail is of paramount importance to ensure that workmanship and quality is of the highest standard.
· Highest level of housekeeping and presentation both personally and corporately (according to the TGS dress code) is expected as the role will be customer facing on occasion.
· A list of duties included in this role will be as follows. This is not exhaustive and Receive sales orders and processing and process through workshop to meet customer demands without compromise on quality Detailed Production planning including interface with:
· Logistics
· Stores
· Planning
· Sales
· Allocation of staff to jobs recognising employee’s strengths and weaknesses
· Troubleshooting and problem solving
· Teambuilding and employee motivation
· Updating of information on Job Record and allied systems
· Shop floor duties required according to workload
· Quality checks and final inspections on accordance with system
· First point of contact for shop floor staff via Van team-leaders
· Regular focus and reporting sessions attended.
· Staff Incentive management according to criteria
· Produce NCR’s in accordance with quality system
· Housekeeping in fitting Centre
· KPI reporting
· Operation and implementation of ISO 9000, 14001 and Health and Safety Policy
· Ordering of job specific parts from approved suppliers
· Update Sales on job progress with restricted customer contact
Any other reasonable request from management

Salary: £14.50-£18.00 per hour
