Production Planner

Location: Altham

Full time – 37.5 hours week – Flexible Working Hours

Consultants: Charlotte Hilton & Karen Reynolds

Salary: £24,500 – £28,000 dependent on experience

We are working with a Large Manufacturing client based in the Altham to recruit a Permanent Full Time Production Planner

The main responsibility of the role is the Planning of all Production / Machines / heads while also working alongside the Production Management and Sales Teams.

  • Fully conversant on Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel

Desirable Skills Required

  • Mattec training can be provided
  • SAGE 200 training can be provided

Duties will include:

  • Check material produced from previous day’s production against stock scanned onto Delta
  • Create daily tool change schedule
  • Attend production meetings and communicate planned schedule to all attendees
  • Run reports on re-order levels and schedule in any production needed.
  • Review and update re-order levels when needed
  • Liaise with National & International Accounts teams for forecasted customer demand.
  • Ensure all sales promotional orders are met by reviewing promotional planner.
  • Ensure a stock check is completed on the lid stock and set a plan for lids that are required.
  • Complete reports using SAGE for all customers and input and update the stock requirement.
  • Plan any rework required and issue rework sheets.
  • Liaise with all departments to make sure targets are met and expectations are aligned.
  • For night/weekend production issue a written plan broken down by shift with all priorities and changes planned in.
  • Monthly stock take administration.
