Job Description

• Utilise MRP system (Factory Master) to accurately plan manufacturing works orders.
• Work closely with Sales and Production departments to plan purchase orders
• Liaise with Production Management to ensure plans and available capacity are aligned and provide clear and accurate information on the progress of orders scheduled within production plan.
• Proactively review and analyse the workflow.
• Provide data to ensure departmental KPIs are achieved.
• Provide high quality products and meeting production targets.

The Successful Applicant

• Demonstrable experience as a production planner in a manufacturing facility
• Good understanding of modern production planning and control procedures (PPC)
• A background in precision engineering or related industries would be beneficial.
• Excellent analytical skills, being able to confidently build and interpret dashboards.
• An understanding of continuous improvement methods and procedures would be beneficial.
• Being able to read and understand engineering drawings would be beneficial.
