All about your role
Located in Haverhill, the KatKin Kitchen is where our fresh, 100% human-quality meat food is gently cooked and frozen. We are looking for an experienced Production Planner to organise production according to demand and quality standards. You will be the one to ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in an efficient manner. You will be responsible for ensuring the factory is fully planned and forecasted to meet the expected output of the business to deliver our expected growth target.
This Hands-On Role Includes Ownership Of
Determine ingredients and raw materials needed to cover production demand.Scheduling the usage of production ingredients and materials to ensure optimal production.
Monitor material supply flow and identify any shortages or bottlenecks in usage that may arise.
Build and share the weekly production plan with all Operations teams.
Ensure sufficient levels of cover are in place to meet the demand.
Readjustment of production plans when targets are not achieved.
Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.
Ensure that collections have the necessary products to supply the most urgent demand.
Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.).
Raise to key stakeholders any stock / production issues that can impact other company departments.
Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Technical, Warehouse, R&D and Finance teams
Who we’re looking for:
Proven experience as Production Planner/SchedulerExcellent knowledge of Production Planning and Quality principles
Working knowledge of MS Office and Enterprise Resource Planner systems
Strong knowledge of data and statistics with an emphasis on Excel
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills
Experience with Google Suite desirable
Loves cats (obviously!)
