KCJ Training & Employment Solutions are recruiting for 8 Production Operatives for a well known client based in Westmead, Swindon.
Monday - Thursday 14:00 - 00:00
£19,226 P/A plus 20% shift allowance
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday
- Evening shift
- No weekends
- Overtime
Work Location: One location
Your Role
Reporting to the Key Operator, you are a member of the production team with personal responsibility for delivering works order requirements from first off approval to targeted daily output of finished products.
Soldering experience would be an added bonus.
Your Goal
Produce good quality products right first time in line with business processes and disciplines.
Your Objectives
- Maintain good standards of housekeeping and compliance of health and safety requirements. Ensure that equipment is safe and operating effectively and reporting concerns to Key Operator.
- Manage the flow of products in your respective area and ensure that rates are met consistently in order to deliver on time in full to the customer, take responsibility for completing works orders on or before the due date.
- Return finished stock to stores ensuring that all parts are correctly labelled and a return to stores card is visible in order for a forklift driver to take back.
- Take responsibility for discipline and comply with company procedures.
- Maintain good communications with personnel, supervision and management at all levels to ensure that concerns and issues are raised and addressed.
- Ensure productivity is maintained at all times so that orders are completed on time in full.
- Take responsibility for reporting quality and equipment issues and reporting to your Key Operator.
