Factory Operative required to join our team
Innovasnack Ltd is a family run Snack Food Manufacturer that produces and supplies various brands such as Thingies and Happy Snax to major retailers and wholesalers across the UK.
We are looking to add a valuable member to our existing production team to assist in the continued growth of the business.
Definition:
Responsible for the operation and manufacture of products as per company specifications. Responsible for Quality checks to ensure standards are achieved and the safety of the machinery / factory.
Job Purpose:
Factory workers operate machinery to manufacture different products. You will be responsible for a range of functions including processing, sorting, and packing the products, as well as operating the machines and monitoring the output to check it is in line with compliance standards. Full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assisting in the packing of all food products produced
- Operating machinery and equipment as required for the above activity.
- Carrying out a variety of cleaning duties as directed.
- Assisting with the achievement of production targets.
- Demonstrating the competent application of good manufacturing practices required to consistently operate to high standards of food quality and food safety. ·
- Complying with Company hygiene policies and procedures when undertaking operations while maintaining high standards of personal hygiene.

Hours:
40 hours per week shift pattern to suit business needs.

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
